Carla’s Flowers celebrates 25 years
Walking into Carla’s Flowers & Gifts, one can close their eyes and almost be carried away to another place. The scent of fresh flowers mingles with the lush smells of decadently scented candles and beads warmed to perfection.
Daughters donate flagpole
Just in time for the reopening of the Linden Public Library, Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 donated a flagpole to the library. City Administrator Bob Swisher provided the American Flag, and Library Director Denise Haas obtained the library flag. In keeping with Flag protocol, the pole is illuminated at night.
Stevenson receives appreciation
The Mark Epperson USD Chapter 1812 awards a certification of appreciation to Connie Davis Stevenson for her correct display and care of the American Flag. Stevenson flies this flag daily in honor of several of her brothers and brothers-in-law.
Kimmel leaves Linden EDC
It has been said that when one door closes, another one opens. For Arthur Kimmel, that door was at the Linden Economic Development Corporation. Starting in October of 2019, Kimmel began as the Executive Assistant at the LEDC with dreams of helping grow Linden.
