Ag class learns about late season crops

Recently the 7th grade Intro to Ag class taught by Mrs. Caraway learned about composting, soil, and care for late season crops from Mr. John Ferguson. They will be planting a fall garden consisting of spinach, beets, turnips and radishes in the near future. All photos courtesy of Atlanta ISD
Queen City High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducts 19 new members

The Queen City High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 19 new members and presented pins to the senior members on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Senior officers who took their oaths included President, Claire Bates, Vice President, Hannah Fitts, Secretary, Rylee Blythe (not pictured), and Reporter, Mallory Abbitt. New members are Camryn Allen, Emma Baker, Dylan Benson, Bethany Bunch, Kylah Cordell, Owen Dodd (not pictured), Quiyon Ellison (not pictured), Katarina Fielding, Taylor Groce, Nyla Harrison, Kenayah Larry (not pictured), Kacy McCall, McKenzy Nichols, Annika Philippi, Alyssa Pierce, Faith Shelton, Keaton Simpson, Chyna Stiger and Halle Worthington.
M.U.M.S. hosts STREAM Extravaganza for students

M.U.M.S. had their first STEAM Extravaganza on Sep.25. Students rotated through stations including; coding, think tank problem solving, Makey Makey, digital escape rooms, and virtual field trips.
