Meet Your Neighbor block party
From the outside, many may assume that those who live life in a small town all know one another. Small town life attracts a variety of people, some who will never leave and others who are looking for a change of pace from the challenges a larger city brings. On Saturday, Sept. 26, Linden Together hosted its second block party, this one themed “Meet Your Neighbor.” It was a delightful way for everyone in town to get out of the house, shop, and enjoy a bit of visiting with old friends and new neighbors. Even the furry neighbors got in on the fun, with a host of dogs, goats, chickens, and even a baby potbelly pig in attendance. No doubt, it was a delightful time had by all. Photos By Jamie Jeans

A journey can be defined as a passage or progress from one stage to another, and there are many journeys one takes over the course of their life. All journeys, no matter how small, are both exciting and have the potential to be life changing. The journey to a new career, going from high school to college, and becoming a parent are all journeys that change us forever.
