DECA advances to State

Linden-Kildare DECA had four students named as winners at the TEXAS ICDC in Houston: Dylan Stanley, Logan Grandmasion, Austin Williams and Nicholas Lane. These four young men earned their ticket to advance from State and will represent Texas at the International Competition in April in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, L-K DECA had six students named as State alternates: Jocelyn Serrano, Camdyn McNutt, Presley Turner, Nayeli Fuente, Brooklynne Dalrymple, and Kyleigh Abernathy. Their sponsor is Mrs. Gail Dorgan.

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than planning a wedding! Sweet Briar Farm, located at 357 CR 1132 in Linden hosted an open house on Feb. 12 for those looking for the perfect place to say “I do” or a place to celebrate special occasion. Visitors were able to explore the event areas and speak with planners about perfecting their events.
