Hundreds came through the door at the Mattie Lanier Richey Center to enjoy the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce annual 2024 Women’s Luncheon on Wednesday,April 24th.The event is free and several vendors were on hand to visit. Like every year, lunch was served, with this year by the Atlanta ISD culinary class. There will be a special section coming soon that features additional photos of the event and articles on some of our special ladies in the community.

High-end electrical users could strain grid

The growth of industrial-scale users of power could strain the Texas power grid, ERCOT’s chief announced last week. The Dallas Morning News reported Pablo Vegas, the agency’s CEO, said bitcoin miners and artificial intelligence data centers going in across the state, as well as industrial growth in the Permian Basin, could create the need for a massive buildup of power transmission lines in the future.
