Grissom’s end to his pilgrimage approaching

Cass County resident Randy Grissom set out on a pilgrimage a little less than a month ago to Camino de Santiago. He did so in hopes of experiencing a closer walk with God and experiencing a time of reflection. So far that appears to be happening with the pilgrimage coming to an end.
Charter Communications to hold meeting regarding rural broadband

Charter Communications is going to be in Marietta to give an announcement regarding rural broadband expansion in Cass County. The Meeting will be on Thursday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cass County Precinct 2 Building, 203 E. Main Street in Marietta.

A few of our local ball teams are still playing and hoping to go deeper into the state playoffs. Atlanta’s baseball team won a Bi-District championship over Mineola after topping the Yellowjackets 6-4, 11-8 in two games.

Angels are heavenly beings sent from heaven to help humans on earth. They are Gods special messengers. Angels are not equal to God, because they were created by God. He tells angels what to do. Some of their jobs are delivering messages for God, protecting God’s people, helping the thirsty, and praising God’s name.
