From the road travelling on the 11th I called my guide Frank Vilorio about my scheduled fishing trip for the 12th. He said we would probably have to cancel on account of a storm forecast colliding with our appointment.
Queen City High School students in Forensics Science classes connected virtually last week with State District Judge, Bill Miller. QCHS teachers, Stephanie Chickadel and Teresa McCulloch, arranged the Zoom meeting with Judge Miller as a follow up to the field trips the classes took to the 5th District Court in Linden earlier this semester.
A severe storm hit Cass County on Friday at approximately 9:40 p.m. with multiple locations reporting fallen trees, downed powerlines, hail, and general wind damage.
Starting in June, the residents of Linden will begin seeing a new EMS service around town. LifeNet EMS Agency is branching out by adding Linden to the areas that they serve. While they do serve Cass County as a whole, Christus St. Michael is currently the EMS agency that serves Linden.
