CHRISTUS Health hospitals in Texarkana and Atlanta have earned the top rating for health care safety from the Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization that assigns grades to U.S. hospitals based on their ability to prevent medical errors and harm to patients.
Union Chapel United Methodist Church will host their annual Christmas Celebration Monday, Dec. 2, 2024. Members of the Law’s Chapel Methodist Church Outreach Committee and others from the church presented a check for $5000 to Mike Steward, Commander of the American Legion Post #258 on Veterans Day 2024. The church’s November monthly mission was to raise money for the Atlanta American Legion post’s ongoing project to erect war memorials for each war or confict including Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and more, and the first responders of 9-11. This money will go toward the Gulf War Memorial.
