A truck collided with a train Monday afternoon on CR 4920 near Bloomburg. According to witnesses the train clipped the front of the truck and spun it around. No one was seriously hurt in the accident.
Thomas Wayne Lawson Sr. of Atlanta was arrested for murder and aggravated assault Sunday after the suspect allegedly shot two people just north of Domino. Roger Franklin Cowley was deceased and the second victim has died as a result of his injuries. He is identified as Gordan Ray Walls, white male, 60 years old of Texarkana, TX.
