Tina Ford, an administrator of the Facebook group ‘Missing East Texas Eight and Beyond’— as well as missing persons advocate—compiled this list of missing and murdered persons whose families are searching for answers. Ford said the list, which began May 31, 2022 now contains 106 souls.
The striped bass is among four temperate bass species finning around in Texas waters. Others include the white bass, hybrid striper and yellow bass. All are members of the Moronidae family with distinctive lines down their sides, varied tooth patches and colorations that range from silvery to yellow. Bass with stripes spend the majority of their lives roaming in open water.
