School Retiree Association presents books

Every May, the Eastern Cass County School Retiree Association presents books to a certain grade level at the primary level. Our unit is blessed to know Evelyn Dickerson who is a retired educator from the Dallas ISD and Paul Quinn College. Evelyn has been giving the gift of literacy to our unit for several years. She is a Christian woman and comments, “that giving is the key that makes your heart feel joy because the more you give the more God gives to you.”

Family Reunion Finley-Gardner-Alexander In laws, outlaws, friends and family are invited and welcome to make new memories and share old ones too. Plenty of good home cooking. Linden VFD welcomes large brush truck to fleet

LINDEN, Texas — The Linden Volunteer Fire Department in Cass County used a $240,000 grant from Texas A&M Forest Service’s Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program to purchase a large brush truck.
