Austin, TX — Atlanta High School Rabbit TV students captured first place in the 1-3A narrative category at the UIL State Film Festival in Austin with the winning entry, “No Greater Love.”
On February 27, 2024, during daylight hours, a stolen vehicle was reported out of Hempstead County, Arkansas. The vehicle was stolen from a small community within the county and taken out of the owner’s yard. The vehicle was located the same day, submerged in water beside the Sulphur River Bridge in Cass County, Texas. No injuries were reported and no names have been released at this time.
Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), Chapter 416, presented the Greenville, TX, L3Harris SERVE (Serving Emergency Responders & Veterans Engagement) employee resource group the award for Texas AFA ‘Organization of the Year.’ SERVE was part of the Linden, TX, February 4, 2023, Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the End of the Vietnam War, and SSgt John Rucker event. SERVE provided posters and people who attended and worked the event, along with the Texoma AFA Team.
