Tracy Lawrence was inducted into the Texas Country Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 10. Lawrence performed at the event in Carthage, Texas where the Hall of Fame is located. The singer/ songwriter/record producer was born in Atlanta, Texas, and then raised in Foreman, Arkansas.
Linden Lions have been an organization in search of a home recently. During this past year, they have met for their noon meetings in five different locations.
Attorney General Ken Paxton has opened up an investigation into CenterPoint Energy’s Conduct During Hurricane Beryl. Centerpoint, which provides natural gas to many Cass County residents, also provides utilities to the Houston area. Even though the investigation does not directly affect this area, on the chance there are fines levied against the utility company, the question needs to be asked if this area will see price increases due to future fines.
