On Mar. 9, the QCHS Band of Champions completed the Sweepstakes, which is getting a one in marching, concert, and sight reading contests. The UIL competition took place in Pleasant Grove.
The Queen City Bass Fishing Club was back at it again on Lake Bob Sandlin last weekend. Jasey Endledowl and Sawyer Smith took first place with Sawyer being named the “Top Angler”. Landin Drake and Eli Elliott came in second, and Case Wiley and Will Hall placed third.
Mrs. Peacock’s class at Bloomburg ISD is learning new skills. They are learning proper napkin folding as well as table setting.
Queen City ISD is excited to announce that Mandi Stringer and Lesley Dotson have been hired as the new administration for J.K. Hileman Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year. Mrs. Stringer will be the campus principal and Mrs. Dotson will serve as the assistant principal.
Queen City High School’s Vet Med Team, Land Judging Team, Entomology Team and two members of the Floriculture team traveled to Jacksboro, Texas recently and competed in their first in-person contest of the 2021-2022 Career Development Events contest season.
