Very little is known of the Perkins brothers prior to coming to Cass County before 1870. It is speculated that they were the sons of Thomas F. Perkins and Sarah Bass of near Charlottesville, Virginia.
Students from J.K. Hileman Elementary braved the heat last Wednesday and headed to downtown Atlanta to see a piece of history.
This past Friday Wayne Grubbs, a professional sports photographer for Max- Preps, gave Mrs. Smoak’s 7th period Tiger Tracks Yearbook staff some tips and tricks of the trade. Students learned the importance of lighting, how to anticipate action, and get low on the sidelines to capture the perfect shot. We are grateful to professionals like Mr. Grubbs for taking the time to come share their experiences with our students.
