Saturday evening was all about flannels and boots at the block party held downtown in Linden every second Saturday. The once monthly party, hosted by Linden Together, has a theme each month and this month’s theme was Flannels and Boots, no doubt a celebratory wink at the coming winter. The next block party will be on Nov. 13 and the theme will be Christmas Countdown-Shop it Up! If you would like to be a vendor you can contact them on Facebook. They will also be hosting the 2021 Linden-Kildare Homecoming parade on Oct. 21. The parade begins at 5:30.
