Etiquette in the age of COVID-19
Last week I received a phone call from a kind, yet frustrated, gentleman who proceeded to tell me about an experience he had at a local chain store. He explained that a few of the employees were not wearing a mask. Since he and his wife are elderly and concerned about their health because of their vulnerability to COVID-19, they approached the manager to complain. The manager told them that he would talk to the employee and have it fixed. The next time the man and his wife visited the same store, they saw that some of the employees were not wearing masks, including the manager.
