Longtime Richardson Schools Kindergarten teacher Mollie Franklin passed away at age 83 after a difficult battle with cancer. Mollie had a 40 year career which included serving Spring Creek and Spring Valley elementary schools. She was beloved by her students and their parents. The children always looked forward to special events in her classes (such as the annual Rodeo in which the class mirrored the events of the rodeo in Ft. Worth). Each unique day was special in her classroom.
