Failure to Swoon

Congressman Moran to host 16th Telephone Townhall

Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R-TX-01) announced a telephone townhall for constituents in the First Congressional District of Texas to voice their opinions and engage on issues important to them. “As the representative of the First District of Texas, I am committed to keeping East Texans informed. “Our office takes pride in sending out a weekly email newsletter that reaches over 25,000 constituents to keep them informed about our work on their behalf. And, nearly every month, we host a tele-town hall that reaches out to an average of 80,000 constituents and is open to anyone who wishes to call in. Through these tele-town halls, I’ve engaged over 1.2 million times with constituents across the district. These tele-town halls are in addition to the numerous in-person public forums, town halls, and roundtables that our office schedules when I am in the district. Just since last August, we’ve done more than twenty of those in-person engagements where open Q&A occurs with attendees, and where we’ve covered topics ranging from border security to budget and taxation matters to intellectual property rights, finance and banking issues, cryptocurrency, and threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party. “Our next tele-townhall is scheduled for Monday, Mar. 31 at 7 p.m. We encourage anyone to join.” “We remain dedicated to stay in touch with constituents, to listen closely to their concerns, and to keep them informed about our work on their behalf in DC.”
