Voters approved last Tuesday a local option initiative that would allow for the sales of all alcohol within Queen City. The measure passed with 65 percent voting in favor and 35 voting against – 358 to 193.
Three seats on the Linden City Council were decided Tuesday, Nov. 3, by voters. All seats on the council are “at-large” and ranked in order of votes received.
With today being Veterans Day 2020, Texarkana College wants to say “Thank You” for the service and dedication shown to our country by hosting a special enrollment event for Veterans and their dependents. Becky Fant, TC’s Veterans Services Specialist, said financial aid to cover college tuition and fees is available for veterans and their dependents but knowing the details of claiming the benefits can be complicated.
