Members of the community heard important messages about breast cancer, domestic violence and mental health during a luncheon Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the Atlanta Independent School District administration office.

Mike Riley, the City of Linden Street and Parks Director, spoke about park improvements and how the City is using native flora to keep costs down and provide a habitat for animals.
Eight members of the Queen City High School FFA competed in the Longview Invitational LDE contest last week and had great results. The FFA Broadcasting team placed first out of 19 teams and the team members are Taylor Ward, Kylie Parker and Reagan Hargrave.
