Oscar Olin McKinney, also known as C. O. McKinney, was born 23 July 1896 in the Turkey Creek Community in Cass County, Texas. He was the tenth child of Mary Ann “Molly” Duck and Lemuel Meredy “Bud” McKinney. Oscar attended school in a oneroom school across the road from the Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Like a lot of young men, Oscar enjoyed the practical joke. Often neighbors were on the receiving end of his jokes.

You’ve seen the television shows or movies where the criminals are trying to track down those set to testify against them and take them out.
