At the January meeting, Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 welcomed 6 new members. They are pictured left to right with President Tammie Duncan Blackburn Gail Mitchell Dorgan, Judy Grubbs, Codi Grubbs, Lori Tibbit,Vicky Seibel, and Alethia White.

Linden Garden Club

The Linden Garden Club held a very successful chili bowl luncheon fundraiser on Friday, February 7, 2025, in the Garden club building in Linden. The event was so successful that the club sold out of chili altogether right after 12 noon on Friday. Over $700 was raised to help the club support its club and community projects. Garden club members were sporting their new pink Garden club T-shirts showing off the club colors and logo of pink roses.
Isaiah’s Messiah

Last week we began to investigate the Jewish claim throughout history of a coming messiah. In fact, we listed some seventeen ancient prophetic historians who recorded prophecies of this King and Messiah. Bible scholar John MacArthur notes these prophecies begin in Genesis, in the Garden with God cursing Eve.
