Morris County Commissioners have unanimously passed a resolution opposing the proposed Marvin Nichols Reservoir. Morris joins both Red River and Cass counties in formalizing their opposition to the project, which has been discussed for decades but has moved closer to development in recent years.

The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) is pleased to announce the election of Chris Brown as President of the association on November 7 at NADO’s 2023 Annual Business Meeting. The meeting was held in conjunction with the NADO’s Annual Training Conference in Cleveland, Ohio November 7-10. Brown serves as a Board Member for the Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG), and Sulphur Springs – Hopkins County EDC Executive Director.
