The Lions Club welcomed Coach Gordon Pynes earlier this month. He spoke about the induction of the 3 new members into the Hall of Fame. Coach Pynes has done wonderful work for the Atlanta athletic program and carrying on the Rabbit tradition. Both pioneers were born in South Carolina. The 1810 census Chester, S.C. census lists John Floyd and wife 26 to 45, one boy and three girls under ten, may be the parents of Reuben T.
