Atlanta ISD was presented with a proclamation to recognize the after-school BLAST program,which has served Atlanta schools since 2006, on Thursday, Oct. 26.The proclamation was presented and read by Mayor James Brooks.

Texas Rangers, with the assistance of the Red River County Sheriff ’s Office, arrested a Cass County man in connection with a July 3 shooting in Clarksville that left 33-year-old Izah Kirryae Runels dead and three other men suspected of murder, according to Lt. CASS COUNTY, TEXAS - The Office of the Governor- Criminal Justice Division has awarded the Cass County Sheriffs Office two separate grants totaling over $50,000.
