Queen City’s track program took part in the 13-3A and 14-3A Area Track Meet on Apr. 20, at Winnsboro High School. Both sides had athletes move on to the Regional Meet.

Linden-Kildare’s boys’ and girls’ track programs took part in the 15-2A and 16-2A Area Track Meet on Apr. 20, at Cooper High School.
Cage Garrett finished in fourth place overall at the Regional golf event and was a third place medalist. Garrett will represent Bloomburg ISD at the state championship which will be held at Plum Creek Golf Course located a few miles outside of Austin.
In 1916 T.R.A. Willis and others wrote of travelling throughout Cass County and having to stop for the night halfway across - something that’s hard to comprehend these days. Oftentimes travelers stopped by for dinner and a bed for the night, whether they new the homeowner or not.
