Both the Atlanta and Linden Lions Clubs were involved in community events. First, Atlanta hosted their Lions Club Golf Scramble which was a fundraiser to help with special programs that the club promotes including scholarships. “A big thank you to the Lions who helped make this event successful. Jim Christian, Jimbo and Tammy Davenport, Debra Durr.”

The Steven Smith Memorial Cruise-In sponsored by the Atlanta Lions Club drew an especially appealing display of cars Saturday, some of which were so polished one needed sunglasses to appreciate them.
