Anyone who has family or loved ones buried at Floyd Hill are invited to attend the Floyd Hill Homecoming and Business Meeting to be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 11:30 in the meeting room of Catfish King in Atlanta.

Prior to kickoff this Friday night (Sept. 24th) three of Atlanta’s most prominent athletes from the past will be enshrined in the Atlanta Athletics Hall of Fame (HOF). This trio will enter as the Class of 2021 and be the fourth Group selected for the HOF. The Rabbits begin their District 6-3A Division I play hosting the White Oak Roughnecks.
Chief Eric Lee announced that on September 14th, 2021 Linden Police Department Officers received training at Christus St. Michael Hospital Atlanta for CPR and AED.
Several members of GT Church left Texarkana on September 9 with four pallets of water and supplies to Louisiana in order to assist the Cajun Navy & Hope community church from the damage caused by Hurricane Ida. Loads of food, toilet paper, shoes, medical, cleaning and disinfectant supplies were unloaded by a team of people from the church.
