Kristy Whisenhunt spoke at the Linden Lions Club, She is a Traffic Safety Specialist supporting the Atlanta district, which includes 9 counties. She is responsible for administering and overseeing state and federal traffic safety-funded grants, programs, and projects. She also chairs a local traffic safety coalition and represents the TxDOT behavioral traffic safety section at various national, state, and local meetings. Kristy received her Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Texas A&M University in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice- Law Enforcement from Stephen F.
Recognized as the oldest Texas courthouse in continuous operation, the Cass County structure is also the only existing Antebellum courthouse in the state. The current building was completed in 1861 and has survived the elements, including a raging fire and a destructive cyclone.

Traffic restricted to one lane with signal lights controlling traffic through work zone Cass County SH 8 – At Sulphur River, replacing bridges US 67 – Widening bridge at Jennings Slough, signal lights controlling one-way traffic Harrison County I-20 – At US 59 overpass, replacing bridge. US 59 traffic shifted to southbound lanes I-20 – Concrete pavement repairs. Daytime lane closures I-20 – Bridge maintenance. Lane closures on north frontage road at Mason Creek I-20 – At Lansing Switch Road, constructing new bridge over interstate. Lansing Switch Road closed to through traffic. Possible lane closures on I-20 SH 43 – At Kansas City Southern Railroad in Karnack, widening bridge over railroad. Signal lights controlling one-way traffic US 80 – From Loop 390 to Interstate 20, resurfacing highway Cider Lane, Hallsville – From US 80 to Cal Young Road, constructing pedestrian ramps & shared use path US 80 – At Industrial Drive, median construction at railroad crossing. Daniel McKinney was born 7 Oct 1799 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, to Margaret “Peggy” McClure (b. 1776), and Daniel Younger McKinney (b. 1769) in New Jersey. Daniel died 20 December 1858. Around 1840, Daniel (b.1799) married Dorothy Adeline “Dollie/Polly” Ferris McKinney who was born about 1821 in Alabama and died in Cass County, Texas, about 1899 or 1900.
