Chris Spencer presented a lunch with Texas Department of Agriculture Sid Miller at 5D Steakhouse on April 18,2023.Miller talked about his accomplishments,and things he plans to do in the future. Miller also handed out honorary Commissioner Awards. Paul Hale was one of the beneficiaries.
The Caddo Wildflower Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas is planning an all-native plant sale for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 6, at the Cass County AgriLife Extension Center, 1008 N. Louise St., Atlanta, Texas.

Zi’Ariel Robinson-Oliver, 9; A’Miyah Hughes, 8; and Te’Mari Robinson-Oliver, 5, three girls were reported missing at about 9:00 p.m. on July 29, 2022. On March 23, Cass County District Attorney Courtney Shelton issued a press release giving an update on the case. In the release, Shelton informed the public that it was a homicide case and that the girls were reported as missing by their cousin, Paris Propps, who was responsible for their care while their mother was working. The girls’ three siblings were located inside the home unharmed.
