Mary Shurn’s community of residence is Macedonia, not Pleasant Hill as stated in her 100 birthday party story in last week’s Citizens Journal-Sun.
Laws Chapel Methodist Church donated to Runnin’WJ Ranch for their June 2024 Mission.Their donation will help a child receive lessons from October - May of this year, and help a horse (Mulder) with vet bills and feed for the year. There will be a gospel singing at the Queen City Methodist Church on Saturday, August 3rd beginning at 5:00 p.m. There will be congregational singing as well as special music by local singers. A sandwich supper with ice cream for dessert will be served.
